The Enigma display cabinet, designed by Rikke Frost for Warm Nordic, is an elegant vitrine decorated with a distinctive geometric pattern. Standing on slim metal legs, the Enigma cabinet offers a unique way of displaying glassware, vases or other beautiful items that deserve to be seen.
The inspiration for the unusual decoration comes from the 18th century when glass was rather difficult to come by, and glaziers resorted to an ancient technique in which lead sticks are soldered around pieces of glass to create larger panels. In Enigma, designer Rikke Frost has interpreted the old technique with a modern approach, giving the storage piece a fascinating appearance that blurs the line between furniture and art.
